We are a family owned and run Tae Kwon Do School. The Owner Danny Brown Jr has over 30 years of martial arts training. Mr. Brown is a U.S. Army Veteran, an ex-Corrections Officer, a former fire fighter/EMT, and also has kickboxing training.
Danny Brown Sr. is our Assistant Instructor and has over 30 years of martial arts training. He brings with him 25 years of Correctional Officer training, SWAT Team experience, and is a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Our school focuses on teaching our students respect, courtesy, perseverance, self-control and confidence.
You will learn self-defense, gain confidence in yourself and get fit in the process.

Tae Kwon Do is a form of martial arts that originated in South Korea. It is recognized as one of the oldest martial arts and literally translates as "The art of hands and feet"
Your first class will be an introduction to the basic kicks, punches, blocks and stances in Tae Kwon Do. It will also familiarize you with the instructors and the other students.
It typically takes between 2 and 3 years if you attend classes regularly and are able to promote on time.
There are 8 colored belts to earn ending on the 9th which is Black. There are also 10 different levels (Dans) of Black Belt you can train for.
Tae Kwon Do is a contact sport and injuries are possible. By teaching proper technique injuries are minimal and uncommon.
Yes! We know there are many other self-defense techniques out there that work. We pride ourselves on teaching those that are the most effective and most likley to work in most situations.
